I hope someone out there has knowledge of Swedish pressure vessels. I have just inspected a small air receiver with a very faded printed & stamped aluminium specification plate. From the little I can read (shown "****" below), I think it originated in Sweden.

"Ar" - Year? "73"
"Ma" - Month? "5"
"HTT 10" - is this 10 bar design pressure?;
"5643" - serial number?
"KTTA 600/350" - is this the design code or the manufacturer and model number;
"Besman JB" - Inspector?

The vessel passed a pressure test (15bar) and thickness survey so I am reluctant to pension it off just yet but I would like to be sure I have interpreted the specification correctly.

In Swedish, year is "År", month is "månad", pressure is "tryck". This is all I can say.

Thanks for the confirmation on year & month. Tryck gave me a clue which leads me to think that HTT is "H?g tjänst tryck" or high service pressure. Only "KTTA" to go!

Doing a google search, I found a lot of references to "Cummins KTTA engines" (or sometimes Cummins KTA) with specific references to the compressor being 600:350.
