Hi all,
I am looking for some info on typical heat generated by image sensors. Can any one give me an idea or point me to an appropriate location on the www?

Thanks,

Not sure I understand your question. There is no "typical," since each manufacturer and each camera has its own requirements.

Ok. That was way too vague.

Let us say CMOS image sensors. I can find data sheets from manufacturers which give an operation range of temperatures. That is not what I am looking for. I was wondering how much heat would get generated when these sensors operate. (could be whatever time the data is specced for)

I dont care who the manufacturer is or what resolution the sensor itself is, as long as the data is consistent for that particular condition.

Hope that helps.

Thanks...
