type 409 versus type 321 for Ht. Exchanger Application

In the comparison of these two stainless steels, is it accurate to say that although the type 409 has a lower coefficient of expansion then 321, for the ht. exchanger application the 321 is still superior because of the addition fo Ni gives it greater strength at elevated temperatures? Yes for high temperature applications 321 is always better than 409 grade. This is because of the presence of high amounts of Nickel which imparts this superior properties.
