Anyone know how to permanently turn perspective view off as a default? It is on right now everytime i open a document in SW06 and I would like it to be turned off by defualt.

Thanks,

Adam

The view seen when a doc' is opened should be the one that was last saved. Is this not what is happening?

No, you cannot turn the perspective view off.

the perspective view turns on by default irrespective of the state the model view was in when saved.

im pretty sure my copy at home doesnt do this...

thats why i was asking.

Thanks for the advice. Ill try and see if i can find any different settings on my home machine.

Rob ... I don't know of a setting which affects how a doc' is opened. Do you? I thought it was just the last saved view.

[cheers]

I haven't tested it to see but if you can set perspective as "on" in your model template then it will be "on" when you open that file until it's turned off I believe.

I may be confused...are we talking about VIEW/DISPLAY/PERSPECTIVE or an iso view?
