Turbine map corrected mass flow ?

Hi,

Can someone explain to me what are these 3 different way of calculating Mred for turbine maps ?

Top group is the normal formula, the one i use usually

Middle circled in red is new one i came across, what is "s" before bar ? And why not just use sqrt instead of K^0.5 ?

And bottom one seems total nonsense !

Why ask here? Why not ask where these formulas are being offered? Who are we to guess what nomenclature is being used by an unknown source? If all else fails, buy a textbook and study up on the theory.
