I am a structural engineer and I would like to know if there is a calculation that translates the peak dynamic motion of a large HVAC unit to an equivalent static force for simplification. Or, do HVAC suppliers, such as Trane, have data available for the engineer's use?

No there isn't, as such. Once you know the input impedance of the building at that point then you can work out the force for a given displacment.

Note that the impedance varies with frequency, and a maximum displacement of the source doesn't tell you anything about the frequency content.
