Hello,

I have an application that implies 2 hemispherical domes that are threaded to each other at equator. My interest is in modeling the threaded regions as frictional contact (either as 2 planar solids that are in contact or by modelling the actual threads of the domes that come in contact). Could you please offer support in how to better define this contact and what solution should I use? I am using PATRAN/ NASTRAN. Thank you!
