thermosets fem analysis

Hi to everybody,
I have to make a static structural analysis of a shield of a electric motor made of thermoset. I cannot know the orthotropic data about this material and I have to develop the simulation considering the isotropic characteristics.
Has someone a suggestion? Is this simulation (with isotropic characteristics of the material) to much approximate?
