I am trying to perform a very simple 2D (plain strain) thermal stress analysis. I tried to create a simple rectangle and applied a uniform temperature of 100 Fahrenheit degrees. Since there is no temperature gradient, I should not have any stresses in s11 and s22 directions. However, the model shows a large stress in those directions. The model input text file is attached. Is there a bug in SAP or I am missing something?
