Temporary chem cleaning pipe for refinery shut down prep

Considering b31.3 when using a chemical cleaning service for a units equipment before a shut down. Often we will have to make temporary pipe to support the service contractor. This pipe will most probably only used once due to unique configurations. How ever the pipe will be under process pressure and be ran through equipment.

QUESTION being is it mandatory to xray and hudrotest this temporary pipes butt welds.

If you keep those temporary pipung for good, treat the joints as golden joints, i.e. 100% RT and LPI.
