hi,

I am performing modal analysis in Pro/E integrated mode. i am confident of doing this. but my problem is my model is at 300 degrees C. So will this effect my mode shape that i got from the modal analysis. If so then how will i input this temperature as an input for modal analysis.

Thanks in advance.

Sari

You can change your material properties to match the 300C properties.

You could also do a prestress modal analysis with a Mec-t load imported from a thermal analysis. Notice that structural properties (including modal) are temperature dependent in Mechanica.
