Of Hot Dip Galvanising and Hot Zinc Spraying, which is typically the most effective surface treatment on carbon steel in a coastal marine environment in terms of impact resistance, adhesion and corrosion resistance?

Thanks,

HDG and zinc metallizing are both reasonably effective in a coastal environment. If the metallizing is sealed, I would give it the advantage.

I have no experience with zinc metallizing other than as a repair method for damaged galvanizing, but I don't think there is a substitute for hot dipped galvanizing. One of the beauties of HDG is that the thicker the steel, the thicker the protective layer of zinc which is deposited in the process.
