Does anyone know of a lab facility that can do supersonic test for a reasonable fee? Your help would be appreciated.

Sustained or just for a short time delta?

Many universities will do this kind of work using their labs.

Posting guidelines faq731-376 (probably not aimed specifically at you)

any local university (worth their salt) should have a wind tunnel.

The fee could be very nominal if you present it as a thesis project (for an undergrad), but then the results would be on the public record (if that mattered).

Local to where? Cornell Aeronautical Lab (CALSPAN) is in Buffalo.

I believe you can hire military/gov facilities.

When I was at Pax River all of the test facilities were cost centers looking for paying customers inside or outside the military.

Having said that, I don't believe I ever saw wind tunnel facilities, but that wasn't the type of project I was involved with.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice; experience suggests that in practice, there is.

I contacted couple of universities and most were occupied with other research works and they must also have other staff member approvals before taking on the work... I'm still waiting for their replies.

Jetgirl8, that was the most complete list of all test facilities, thanks.
