The base price for Type 416 should be ~ $0.90/lb. The base price for 17-4 PH is $3.10/lb. This is based on information from AK Steel (March 2006). 4340 should be less than $0.90/lb, but I do not have any reliable data to share. Try contacting large distributors like EMJ, Ryerson, etc.
