Steam Turbine Hood Design Theory

For a research project, I am required to evaluate through using CFD the cause of the underperformance of a large steam turbine, the cause of the problem has been indicated as a flow issue within the turbine hood, does anyone have any idea on where good text may be availiable on this subject (turbine fluid flows)?
