Dear all,
For spiral wound gaskets with 304 stainless steel winding material, what sort of certificate has to provide the gasket supplier, just chemical composition or mechanical properties too?
I read over and over the B16.20 and some catalogues from prestigious gasket manufactures and the winding material is only mentioned as stainless steel 304, 316, etc. So, seems that a chemical composition certificate would be suficient.
This story arose when our customer required a certificate as if the winding material were SA 240 Gr 304!
Any suggestions will be very welcomed.
Saludos
