hi all, could someone tell me the role of the spinner flask in biotechnology? spinner flask specifically? thank you in advance for your help

Spinner flasks are commonly used for mammalian cell culture propogation in biotech industry. Corning makes such spinner flasks. They are typically having a magnetic driven impeller. Impeller geometry is very much different than the Fermenter Impleelers. These flasks can go as high as 5 - 10 Ls in volumes.
