Folks,

Does anybody know how to specify degree of stretch in fabrics? I am concerned with '% stretch' and 'resistance to stretch' (i.e. the equivalent of modulus).

Is there a relevant Standard?

Apreciate any help?

Speedy.

For stretch testing methods and annotations refer to ASTM.org 100% stretch is 2 x length of the material prior to stretching.... 50 % is .5 X length... 25% is .25 x length...
