where can i download information regarding solar and wind enrgy(pdf or word format)?

you can very well get the solution to your problem on the site or www.iee.org[india] and in it search for the paper presentation on the topic related to nonconventional sources of energy.

An excellent source of information and links would be Home Power Magazine:

They have at least six CD's packed full of information available, as well as downloadable articles .. all in PDF format. There are also enough links to other renewable energy sites (photovoltaic and wind) to keep you busy for a long time. The links are located on the main page under "Renewable Energy Links". You'll also find that if you have specific questions, the magazine staffers are *very* willing and able to answer them .. or point you to sources where you can pursue answers with experts in the field. Enjoy!
