We are installing new CCTV cameras on a project and I want some feedback experience of electrical teams on providing solar powers (maybe) dual supply or dual batteries to power security cameras ?

technology of power generation and storage seems to have moved on a lot.. so at 60watt type power it seems expensive to run 100m of a power cable for a CCTV under ground spending 10's k cost for one camera..

its a fenced off area.. so security is good already.. so we would see anyone tampering with batteries.
 
Massively depends on where you are in the world and what the range of solar is going to be from winter to summer.

This site https://globalsolaratlas.info/map lets you see the annual range plus the spread over the year.

So say a 60Wpeak panel will give you somewhere between 90Wh a day in winter to 360 Wh a day in summer. but where you are can change that.

Or is 60W your duty? So 1.5kWh per day?

So you'll need about 1kWp ior more to get over storage losses. So orob 3 or 4 large panels plus batteries. So 100m of cable doesn't sound so much...

You figure out the current supply and battery size, but the winter can be very low.
