I am designing a Special Moment Resisting Frame, iam done with the analysis and design of members my problem is on the design of connections. I read some papers and journals regarding on the pre-qualified requirements of AISC for SMRF connection. can you give me some ref.

AISC 358-05 which is part of Seismic Design Manual. FEMA 350 is a good resourse too.

I would look at AISC 358-10 instead. The newer code has a good deal more pre-qualified connections. Either that or I'd make sure that you get the supplement to the 05 version as most of the new connections were added into that supplement as well.

Correct, AISC 358-10 is the proper code to use and follow. AISC has taken over for FEMA in the developement of seismic code design codification; AISC 358 is result.
