Hi all,

I want to model a single degree of freedom systems with lumped mass (as concentrated force) at the top. I wanted to include the effects of concentrated force in modal analysis (I use Linear perturbation , frequency step)? I could not include the concentrated force in the modal step. Can anyone suggest ideas?

Loads can’t be applied in eigenfrequency extraction analysis. But you can model the lumped mass as point mass (Engineering Features --> Inertias --> Point mass/inertia) like it’s typically done.

Yes. Done. Thank you.
