Simulating a range of TDH pressures?

We have two different style pumps that we want to test for actual flow and generate some curves for them. One is a 2” and one is a 3” (suction & discharge). We want to test them at 1750 RPM and at 3450 RPM and with a range of impeller sizes VS TDH (discharge head).

The problem is that I would like to test a range of TDHs from around 5’ to 70’. I’m wondering if there is a specific apparatus to fairly accurately simulate these head pressures and that can easily be adjusted? I’m not sure that just using some kind of a valve and a pressure gage upstream of it would be a very good or accurate way of doing this. Also, running a pipe straight up in the air for 60’ is not practical lol.

I figure that there is a good way to do this that I’m not aware of and figured if anyone would know the best way they would be here!

After rereading my post, I guess I really just mean how to generate a Head Pressure after the pump (discharge head). Not specifically a TDH which would take into account the pump characteristics.
