I have a mold that is filled with liquid latex and sealed with a silicone pad. The issue is that the latex once heated and raised, sometimes sticks to the silicone pad. I would like the latex molded to remain in the mold cavity and not sticking to the pad. What would be a viable option to prevent these two materials from sticking together once they come in contact?

You could try a light coating of zinc stearate on your silicone pad. You should only need a very light dusting.

Politicians like to panic, they need activity. It is their substitute for achievement.
