Hi everyone,
I'm working on designing a blown film process and I'm having trouble calculating the frost line height. I've read that the frost line height is the distance from the die to the point at which the molten polymer starts to solidify, and it depends on a number of factors, including the melt temperature, the speed of cooling, the extrusion speed, and the diameter of the bubble.
I'm wondering if anyone can provide me with a formula or equation for calculating the frost line height, or point me to a good resource that has this information. I'm also interested in any books or other source information that may be helpful in designing blown film processes.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Best regards,
Muhammad Azzrial Rifky
