shading 2d views? 3

Is there a way to "shade" views in the drafting workbench?
I am using r17.
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
select properties of view.
View generation mode > switch to RASTER.
Then select the options button to the right of RASTER.
Change the shading mode to which you would prefer.
