settings for an fol 3015 aj amada laser to cut 6mm mild steel

I've always been curious as to how all those different cut conditions are implemented in the programs that cut the parts you guys use. Is there a constant change in power/duty/freq throughout the cuts, or does it use one as a constant and you just cycle through the 10 different conditions and find which one you like best?

Reason I ask being because I have software we aren't really trained in using and it's not intuitive AT ALL, but I did notice a similar layout inside the software to this.

When you create a part all the internal cuts along with the outside are given a cut condition 1 thru 10 according to how you want to cut it. All the holes less than the thickness of the material we use E2, normal size holes are E3, large holes are E5 and tight tolerance holes are on E6 and the outside E4. So now when it reads an E3 it will call up the E3 conditions and use them until it reads a different E command like the E4 for the outside. You can adjust the condition to fine tune the cut but the laser will not do it on it's own.
