Seal selection for Hot lime softener sludge slurry

Anybody please correct my seal selection for following :

Service : Centrifugal Feed Pump
Liquid : Hot lime softener sludge slurry
Seal & Plan : Single mechanical seal + Seal plan 23 ()

Liquid properties ----------------------------------------
TDS = 933 mg/l Total Hardness(as CaCO3) = 25 mg/l
TSS = 53000 mg/l P ALK = 179 mg/l
TOC = 383 mg/l M ALK = 348 mg/l
Silica (as SiO2) = 50 mg/l
Chlorides 278 / 4000 mg/l
Oil = NILL
pH = 10.2

Do you have VP, pumping temp, suction and discharge pressure, speed, shaft dia?

I don't think you will get plan 23 to work on a slurry! I would think single with plan 02 or dual with plan 54. Send some details across let's see what we can select for you

VP, pumping temp, suction and discharge pressure are as following :

Temp(mini/max) = 5 / 98
SG = 0.987/1.158 @ 5 C
VP(kPaa) = 94 / 94
Vis (cP) = 0.3 / 2.0

Capacity (m3/h) = 26.9
Discharge press = 265
Suction press(Rate)= 25
Head = 24.9
NPSH A = 1.9

I do not know speed & shaft dia yet.
Process engineer recommended to apply ANSI pump or Progresive Cavity pump for this service.

And I think plan 02 is not suitable for this temp. 98 C then, dual seal with plan 54 is... only solution ?
Dual seal used for that this liquid shall not be leak to atmosphere, right?
Can I use dual seal with plan 52 for this setviec ?
 
I would recommend a dual pressurised with plan 54 using water as barrier fluid. I'm sure there will be water at 400kpa available. Plan 52 primary seal will still be subject to process fluid and as such fluid film is process fluid. If this is abrasive then you may experience seal failures. Although you will achieve some cooling affect from the buffer fluid I think dual pressurised is the way to go!

The set up cost of plan 54 taken from an existing supply line is inexpensive and this arrangement will be most reliable.
