Scale limitations in Excel

Much as I like excel, one thing that really bugs me is that I cannot have a scale for each column of data.
When dealing with multiple sets of data, using the primary and secondary axis is no help as I usually have to exclude some data then re-graph with the other sets.

The alternative is to that I don't see the detail... for example, when I log density in the range 850-870kg/m3 and temperature on the other axis at 35-50degC I can't display viscosity in the range 175 to 180cst.

Unless, off course, I set the scales from 0-870, in which case temperature appears to be a flat line...

Any solutions out there? (apart from including a scale multiplier to my data to bring all the data into the same range..)

Is there an alternative to Excel that will let me assign individual scales for each set of data?
