I've got a customer design to analyze that has a part made of Sandvik 7C27Mo2, a martensitic stainless steel. The nominal composition is :

C 0.38%
Cr 13.5%
Mo 1.0%
Mn 0.6%
Si 0.4%

I have no idea what the magnetic properties of this stuff are. The only thing even close that I have data for is AISI 416. Anybody have anything better? I know, I know, this stuff is not produced to controlled magnetic properties but some data is better than nothing at all.

I looked through everything I have and agree that 416 looks like the closest match.
