Is there an easy way to find all the relevant assemblies that reference a part.

Similar, I guess to the Parent/Child option for features.

We have an extensive range of numerous assemblies and part files.
It would be great If I could simply open a part file and find out all the assemblies that reference that part.

Are the assemblies and parts in Intralink? If so it's not a problem. Just do a Where Used report on the part.

Cadcamguy,

Thanks very much...just what I was looking for.

'Find my mother' is a very nice piece of software!

I thought it was not working at first as I searched with the *.prt extenions for the filename.

i.e use 'FILENAME' not 'FILENAME.PRT'.

Cheers!!
