Reference 2d into a 3d Drawing??

I am referencing a 2d draiwng in to a 3d drawing and a lot of the line work from the 2d drawing does not show up. Can anyone help me out with this?

While working in the 2D file, try exporting your 2D file to a 3D file:

File:Export:3D

Then try and reference it into your original 3D file.
