I am not sure where to post this but I thought that some investment casters might follow this forum.

I am doing a costing exercise on investment casting of some parts.

Question: I know that you can't reuse the investment slurry. But is there anybody out there that might have some use for it? Otherwise I would need to calculate disposal cost.

Thanks,

Herc

Some of it is re-ground and used as coarse frit in the backing layers.
I don't recall how much can be used this way.
