I asked this question in October of last year with no responses to date. Perhaps some older or retired structural engineers could help me. I have to determine the load capacity of p/c roof slabs for a building. The old plans do not indicate the design loads that were required but I recognized the slabs as probably being manufactured by the George Rackle Company here in the Cleveland Ohio area in the 50's and 60's. I used these slabs on several projects as a new engineer back in '67 but don't have the load tables any longer. Perhaps some one has the Rackle Slab load tables and can help me out. The slabs are 24in. wide with 2 3/4" deep flanges along both edges where the main rebar is placed.
We can measure the size of some of the exposed rebar in the field. Thanks for any help you can give me.
