Quick Snapping Issue with Symbols

Okay, another quickie. We have some symbols defined such as a revision block that we place beside our title blocks on drawings. If I click the SYMBOLS icon and bring up the symbols window, select the revision block and insert it, I CANNOT snap to anything on the title block or border, I can only snap to parts of the body of the drawing (items in a view or dimensions). If I RMB on the item under Sketched Symbols in the model tree, click on INSERT and place the symbol then I can snap to the title block or border. Is there any way to have blocks snap to the title block or border from the SYMBOL command????
