Pump shop tests -- Variable-speed pump

For VFD driven water pumps, if the pumps will operate in different speeds, when the shop tests (like vibration) are requested, does the pump supplier need to do the test at different speed? Or just at the rated rpm?

I tried to find some reference but didn't find anything helpful in HI standard 9.6.4.

For API, it seems clear that per 6.9.3.8 Variable-speed pumps shall operate over their specified speed range without exceeding the vibration limits of this International Standard.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

If I were your customer, I would want my pump tested against a loop that at least roughly simulates the intended installation, and over the full range of anticipated operating speed.
If you can't supply a VFD for the test, I'd at least want a coast-down under load from the rated speed, with witnesses and/or instruments recording all the way.

What does your purchase agreement/contract/whatever have to say about testing? It should...
