Guys, is there any problem if I design the PSV discharge piping with only following information being available:

1. Discharge capacity of PSV - lb/hr.
2. Max. allowable back pressure - x psig.
3. Temp. of fluid at discharge - x DegF

Thanks

You also need the isometrics and fluid properties at discharge conditions...it's a basic fluid flow calc ;)

gasoperations,
I would also recommend that if you are new to this type of work and are NOT a Piper then you need a really GOOD Piping Designer.

pennpiper,
These are very few and far between - much easier to get a piping designer (ex draughie on higher rate) as there are a multitude of these.
