i am in the process of modeling a roundabout in inroads v8i ss1

I started with a circle (the inscribed diameter) that I draped over a surface. I then wanted to create an inner circle offset 30 ft and at a 2% slope. I used the generate longitudinal feature tool with the horizontal defined by "offset from primary feature" and the vertical defined by "transverse slope." After following the prompts, I was was prompted to identify the location. At this point I accepted the interior offset and nothing happened. I tried several times before going back to inroads 2004 and did the same process with no problem. after that, i tried offsetting a line...i was given a preview once again when I was prompted to identify the location, but no element was created when I accepted. what am i missing.

jeremyk55,
I just went over the workflow you posted and did not have any troubles I am using V8i SS1. Remember to "Right Click for Entire" to complete the inner circle.

The problem was the feature style that was selected. When I changed it to another feature style, it worked just fine. But now I'm having another problem. Name, point type, and point density interval are greyed out. I've never seen this before. Any idea on how to activate those options?
