Hi all,

I have tried to run the example application of Pro/Toolkit from Wildfire IV M040 on Windows 7 professional SP1 x64 platform:
I am using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 (10.0.30319.1 RTMRel).

Start a .dll in Dll Mode always failed. All Examples do the same.

Has anyone here have successfully run such examples in Dll mode? Do I need to have a service pack (SP) for MSVS 2010?

Thanks for any words

Samir Joshi

I have some examples for vs2008, you can contact me by msn.

My msn:protoolkit@hotmail.com

The certified IDE for WF4 ist VC++ 2005 (without SP1!!!).

When we switched to Windows 7, I recognized, that VC++ 2005 doesn't run without SP1. The PTC support recommended to use VC++ 2008. This worked fine for all our Toolkit applications.

Thanks for the replies.
What if I use PROE 5.0 instead of PROE 4.0 keeping rest of the configurations same.

Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 5.0 is supported by MSVC 2008.
