Is anyone aware of a standard/document that is useful when trying to predict building drift accelerations? I couldn't find anything in ASCE 7.

I would imagine the procedure would be similar to evaluating the response of a spring-damper system subject to a triangular pulse.

I scored this off of JAE a while back. It has some acceleration stuff towards the end: Link. If nothing else, the references may prove useful.

I like to debate structural engineering theory -- a lot. If I challenge you on something, know that I'm doing so because I respect your opinion enough to either change it or adopt it.
