PMI datum symbol attaced to a datum plane? 3

Can a PMI Datum feature symbol be attached to a datum plane? (in NX9) It seems like a silly question, but we haven't been able to do it. Instead we have resorted to creating a line and attaching the datum feature symbol to it. Thanks.

I'm not sure ecatly what you mean by being "attached to a datum plane". You can certainly select a Datum Plane as the 'Associated Object'. Are you talking about the termination point of the leader?

Yes...the leader. It appears that it can be attached to anything but a datum plane.

Yes, that does appear to be the situation and it does feel like it should be something that should work. If you would, please contact GTAC and have them open an ER and I'll also take this up with the PMI Product Manager.
