Please anyone have any suggestions for dealing with or repairing pipe corrosion?

In this case my hydrant pipe was exposed by corrosion, i thought it was caused by the humidity and water droplets
Please anyone have any suggestions for dealing with or repairing pipe corrosion?

Belzona may be a solution there are also tape fiber glass resins and also some epoxy linners.

First determine the severity of corrosion. If its superficial as it appears in the photo, remove surface contamination and recoat with a more appropriate coating than the one currently used.
