Dear Colleages,

Does any one have some pics of destruction that wind has done on structures that can be shared?
Prefer damages done on industrial structurs or buildings.
Also, if you know of any interesting video clips on internet, I appreciate the link.

Thank you for your kind sharing.

Have a bunch but unfortunately can't share as they are under an NDA. Many of them are likely duplicated in local newspapers which are likely online. Have you tried a google image search?

The greatest trick that bond stress ever pulled was convincing the world it didn't exist.

TehMightyEngineer,
Are u able to refer me to date and paper so somehow I see if I can see the pics?
Yes, I googled and not much useful pics, that's why I thought better is posting this as.
The pics are not going to be published or rferenced, just for personal educational purposes.

Thank you
P.S. Thank you Kootk for link. Do you have the book, does it contain pics? I looked at few pages of iton google book and there was no pics.

SKJ25POL: Couldn't find them online. It was a whole bunch of asbestos siding ripped off of a local paper mill. We had a recovery boiler explosion at the same mill, you could probably take those pictures and pass them off as wind damage. It's still air pressure, right? :p

TehMightyEngineer (Structural), sounds they are good pics. Is any of them that may not reveal any information regarding the place and you can share with me. I was looking for such pics. In google only found bldgs that are flatten due to storm which is not what I am looking for.

I can provide my email if that is more confident.

Thank you

@medeek

That one happened about 20 miles from my office. I believe they determined that the sheathing had not yet been fully nailed.
My guess is that it was nailed as good as it was gonna get.
