Hello,
I am trying to investigate the mechanical behaviour of a thin polymer film coating. I tried to find relevant information on thin PET film, but so far I was not successful. Being not a polymer technologist I am a bit lost what exactly I should look for. I would appreciate any information on how the physical properties of the bulk PET change if it is extruded to a thin film or any ideas/suggestions on how the overall mechanical properties (especially in compression and shear) of such film could be measured or estimated. Please help.
