I need Fx, Fy and Fz forces at a node for a approx 500 load cases. Is there an easy way to do it in Patran?
I haven't tried PCL because I haven't used it before. I believe in Ansys it would have been easy to use the log file and rerun the commands by substituting the load case numbers.
Could you tell me how to do it or point me in the direction where I could get some info.

Or could someone tell me who to compute the nodal forces from the element results (which I can read from the .f06 file). The node I am interested in is shared by 2 CQUAD4 and 1 CBAR element.

Thanks.

Did your run have grid point force balance option on? If so, go to your .f06 file and search for the node. Bring this into excel and sort. Something like that.

Alternatively you can generate a report file from Patran and import into Excel in the way Kwan suggests.
