Hi,

I have a 133MB STEP file that i need to open in SolidWorks 2007, however, it continually crashes the programme.

Does anyone have any suggestions? such as converters to other formats, etc?

TIA

Jon

If you can get a parasolid from who ever sent you the step file, that might work better.

PARASOLID x_b file would be your best. other wise, look into opening up your page and swap file so that your machine can open the large file. do you have alot of ram on the machine? large disk space? etc?
