Old Steel Shape Designations

Where can I find section properties of old B sections? Was the B designation replaced by the WF designation (and then just W)? Is there an online database of old shapes?

To my knowledge there are no online databases for old sections.

Got to the Bethlehem Steel web site and check out their archive section. There is a good database with names and properties of old steel shapes etc.
