Hi all,

I want to ask about calculation of the net positive suction head available for ethylene pump (vertical multistage pot mounted submerged motor pump).

see the attached picture.
my question is :
the calculation of the net positive suction head available based on point 1 or point 2.

If you've bought it as a single item, most pump vendors supply NPSHR at the centre line or face (for vertical pointing flanges) of the inlet flange.

Only the vendor / vendor supplied design manual can tell you for sure.

yes I have the NPSHr from the vendor datasheet 0m at datum and 1.2m at the grade.
