Hello, everybody here,

How to we determine if a nozzle pad require for vessel? and if required how to calculate the pad size? Any comments are appreciated.

Your calculations will determine whether or not your nozzle needs a repad to meet the Code requirements openings. Review the appropriate section of ASME VIII Div 1.

or other (unspecified) Code of Construction.

The problem with sloppy work is that the supply FAR EXCEEDS the demand

Assuming that it is an ASME VIII, Div. 1 construction, please read UG-37 and Figure UG-37.1.

Refer UG-36, UG-37 & UG-40 of ASME SEC VIII DIV 1.
