Hi,

I'd like to callout a 3 hole pattern as a single Datum feature (B for example). The holes are not inline nor are they about a common axis, but rather form somewhat of an L pattern (1 hole in the corner and another hole to the right and above). Calling out the patterns will derive mid-planes between the holes (shown in red), but I'd rather baseline dimension from the centerlines through the hole themselves (shown in blue). Is this okay?

SSO Contractor,

Yes, it is okay. The holes should have a positional tolerance with respect to your primary datum feature.
